Our Harvest
Our Distributions are from late May / early June through October. The exact start, end and duration varies with the weather. For example:
- 2006 Season ran June 2 - Oct 31 (22 weeks)
- 2005 Season ran June 7 Oct 28 (21 weeks)
- 2004 Season ran May 25 Oct 27 (23 weeks)
- 2003 Season ran June 3 Oct 30 (22 weeks)
Sample distributions for Common Ground Farm
Below are several sample distributions from the harvest throughout the year for a Full sized share. The distributions for a Small share would be approximately half in size. Crops vary somewhat from year to year and some weeks of each month might be smaller than shown, others largers.
June
Full Share:
- 4 heads of lettuce (from 4 different types)
- 7-9 oz arugula or spinach, or one bunch of collards or kale
- 1 bunch parsley
- 6 radishes
- 1 lb. broccoli
- 3 heads baby bok choy
- dill, cilantro, and/or basil
- 12 oz snap peas or snow peas
July
Full Share:
- 2 lb. green beans
- 1 bunch scallions or sweet onions
- 1 head of cabbage, or 1½ lbs cauliflower
- 1 bunch of collards, kale, or chard
- 4 summer squashes/zucchini
- 2 lb potatoes
- 4 cucumbers as well as pickling cucumbers
- 5 hot peppers
- 4 oz basil
- dill and cilantro
- Pick your own flower bouquet
August
Full Share:
- 4 lbs heirloom tomatoes
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
- 4 cucumbers
- 1 lb. eggplant
- 2-4 onions or leeks
- 8 summer squashes/zucchini
- 8 oz basil
- 1 bunch thyme
- 3-5 hot peppers
- 1 pint tomatillos
- 6 ears sweet corn
- 1 large melon
- pick your own flower bouquet

Full Share:
- 2 lbs potatoes
- 2 lbs onions or leeks
- 4 beets or 1½ lbs carrots
- 2-4 oz basil
- 1 lb edamame
- 1-2 large cantaloupe or watermelon
- 3-5 hot peppers
- 2 lbs bell peppers or 6 lbs. winter squash
- 1½ lbs eggplant
- 1 daikon radish
- 1 large turnip

Full share:
- 14 oz leeks
- 2 onions
- 2 celeriac
- 2 lbs carrots
- 8 lbs winter squash
- 14 oz beets
- 1½ lbs broccoli or cauliflower
- 1lb greens (arugula, kale, collards, or salad mix)
- 1½ lbs rutabaga, turnip, or parsnips
