Introduction

We believe in making connections. When children learn how to harvest potatoes with their own hands, when adults learn how to participate in our local textile supply chain, when people get to know their farmers--we create networks that support a more just and community-centered food system. Farm-based education nurtures people’s engagement in where their food comes from, grows their interest in trying new things, and develops the skills needed to provide for themselves.
