Common Greens Partnership with Green Teen

Since 2009 Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County’s Green Teen Program has partnered up with Common Ground Farm to bring “Common Greens” to the City of Beacon. Common Greens is a Free Farm Stand that offers free locally-grown vegetables grown by Common Ground and Green Teen to the community. The idea is to get vegetables to community members within walking distance of the Beacon Recreation Center who are facing financial hardship. The Free Farm Stand is held every Wednesday afternoon from June through September.
