Visit the Farm

Visitor Information

The entire Stony Kill property is open from dawn to dusk. Visitors are welcome to enjoy walking through the farm property, including the nature trails in the woods by the Manor House. There are also picnic tables for lunch and snacks. Visitors are welcome to walk on the grassy pathways at Common Ground Farm, however please do not enter the vegetable fields unless you are participating in a program or volunteering. Dogs are not allowed.

There are many ways to get more involved and visit the farm regularly, including our weekly summertime U-Pick vegetable share. Common Ground Farm also welcomes volunteers to help on the farm. We host a wide range of children’s education including Preschool on the Farm and Farm Camp.

Common Ground is located on the historic Stony Kill Farm property. Heading north on Route 9D from Beacon, there are signs for ‘Stony Kill’ on the left after passing Dutchess Stadium. There are two entrances to the property, and Common Ground Farm is located by the southern entrance. Visitor parking is by the red barns, and Common Ground’s sign and fields are to the left past the picnic tables.
